- Pick your start time on Thanksgiving Day (November 22nd, 2012).
- Pick where you want to run it:
- Run down your street (provided it’s 13.1 miles!).
- Run at your parents’ in New Jersey.
- Run at the beach.
GIVE THANKS WHILE YOU RUN 13.1 MILES!
- You get a really cool souvenir t-shirt.
- Write the 13.1 things you are thankful for in 2012 on the back.
- Wear it when you run.
- Connect on our Facebook page, tell your story and post your pics.
- A percent of proceeds will go to help the charity chosen for this year, Temecula Murrieta Rescue Mission.
- Wear your really cool Thanksgiving Thirteen Half Marathon custom medal all day.

Thanksgiving and Gratitude
What brings us all together, even though separated by physical space, is the same goal -- and that is to bring back the spirit of Thanksgiving. It is the spirit of giving to those who have less, the spirit of being grateful for what we have been given because, even in the face of difficulty, we can still be thankful and live in the space of gratitude. Thanksgiving Thirteen half marathon is an opportunity for unity even in the midst of our differences. This is what it’s all about!!
